Terms & conditions

These terms apply to every purchase, booking and collaboration with Live in the Remix.

1. General

Live in the Remix · KvK 92391001 · VAT NL004952444B62 · W.H. Vliegenstraat 4, 3332 CV Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands · mies@liveintheremix.com

Prices for consumers include VAT; Studio prices for businesses exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. The price shown at the moment you order or the price in your signed quote applies.

2. Shop — workbooks

What you buy: each workbook is a digital PDF file (no printed book), in Dutch unless stated otherwise. The product page in the shop describes the contents, number of pages, language and format.

Price: the price shown in the shop is the total consumer price including VAT. There are no shipping costs or other extra costs; any payment costs are shown in the checkout before you pay.

Delivery: after successful payment you receive a download link on the order confirmation page and by email, usually within a few minutes. If you have not received it within 24 hours, please check your spam folder and email us.

Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw. For digital content this right lapses only if, before ordering, you explicitly agree that delivery starts immediately and confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. You give this consent in the checkout. Without that consent, the 14-day right applies as normal.

Confirmation: after your purchase you receive an email confirming your order, the price paid, these terms and — where given — your consent to immediate delivery and the loss of the right of withdrawal.

Conformity: the file must open, work and match its description. If it does not, email us and we will repair or replace it, or refund you if that is not possible. Your legal rights as a consumer always remain.

Not happy with a digital product? Email Michelle at mies@liveintheremix.com; after a short conversation we can arrange a return (refund) for you.

Workbooks are for personal use only; sharing or reselling them is not allowed.

3. HER — 1:1 modules

A module is booked once payment is received. The contents, number of sessions and duration are as described on the module page at the moment of booking.

Need to move a session? Let us know as early as possible and we will find a new moment together. Sessions cancelled without notice may lapse.

HER modules offer insight, reflection and practical tools. They are not therapy, medical, nutritional or psychological treatment, and do not replace professional care. You stay responsible for your own choices and health.

4. Studio — projects

Every Studio project starts from a written quote describing scope, price, payment schedule and timeline. The quote is binding once you approve it in writing or by email.

Extra work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

Once the final invoice is paid, you receive the rights to use the delivered designs and texts for your brand. We may show the work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.

Invoices are payable within the term stated on the invoice.

5. Remix Ceremonies

Pre-registration is free and not binding. Your place is confirmed after payment.

The ceremony includes movement, breathwork, cacao and other practices. Take part within your own limits and let us know beforehand about pregnancy, health conditions or medication — cacao is not suitable for everyone.

6. Liability

We work with care, but we cannot guarantee specific business or personal results. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence.

6.1 No medical, psychological or therapeutic services

Live in the Remix is a platform for personal development, self-reflection, awareness and lifestyle. The digital products, coaching trajectories, workshops, exercises and rituals offered are intended as inspiration, education and support for personal development.

Live in the Remix and its guides do not offer medical, paramedical, psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment, and do not act as a doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist or other registered healthcare provider, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The information and activities offered are not a substitute for medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment or guidance by a qualified care professional. No medical or psychological diagnoses are made and no medical treatments are carried out.

For physical or mental complaints, health questions, or doubt about whether an exercise or activity is suitable for you, we advise participants to contact a qualified doctor or other authorised care professional.

6.2 Own responsibility and personal results

Taking part in coaching, workshops, rituals, movement activities, breathing exercises, meditation and other offered activities is voluntary and at your own responsibility.

Every participant is themselves responsible for assessing their own physical and mental boundaries, for making personal choices, and for applying the insights and exercises offered in daily life.

Live in the Remix cannot guarantee specific results in the areas of personal development, wellbeing, health, relationships, work, entrepreneurship, finances or other areas of life.

The experiences and results shared by Live in the Remix or by other participants are personal and can differ per individual. They are no guarantee of comparable results.

To the extent legally permitted, Live in the Remix is not liable for choices, actions or results that follow from independently applying information, insights or exercises. This leaves statutory liability and consumer rights unaffected. Live in the Remix remains responsible for its own statutory obligations and for any shortcomings for which it is liable under the law.

6.3 Safety and personal suitability

The participant remains responsible for judging whether taking part in an activity fits their personal situation and health.

In case of doubt, existing health complaints, injuries, pregnancy or other circumstances that could affect participation, we advise obtaining professional medical advice beforehand.

The participant may at any moment adjust, skip or end an exercise when it does not feel pleasant or does not feel suitable.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website, the methods, workbooks and materials remain the property of Live in the Remix, unless rights are transferred as described above.

7.7 The REMIX method and sources of inspiration

The REMIX method is an approach developed and composed independently by Live in the Remix for self-reflection, personal development and exploring individual energy, patterns and rhythms of life.

In developing this method, inspiration is drawn from existing philosophies, traditional knowledge, cultural perspectives, spiritual movements and contemporary insights. This includes, among others, chakra philosophy, Ayurveda, yoga, nature-connected traditions, rituals and other existing approaches to body, mind and consciousness.

These existing philosophies, traditions and knowledge sources were not developed by Live in the Remix and are not the property of Live in the Remix. Where relevant, original sources, traditions and influences are respected and acknowledged.

The distinct character of the REMIX method lies in the selection, interpretation, combination, structure and practical translation of these existing insights into its own coherent model and offering.

The specific elaboration of the REMIX method, including self-developed models, texts, exercises, workbooks, illustrations, programmes and educational materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property rights, insofar as these rights apply to them.

The use of existing philosophies or traditions does not mean that Live in the Remix claims to have developed, invented or exclusively owned the original knowledge, cultural traditions or spiritual practices.

8. Complaints & law
